POLARIZED VIEW is a kinetic installation exhibited at the Synagogue and at the Re:search Gallery of Groningen and nominated for the MAF Young Masters for the Media Art Festival in Leeuwarden. Based on the same principles as the work that preceded it, this work explores the possibility of becoming an autonomous and interactive installation. While the rotation of the plate that holds the plastic packaging collection rotates constantly, the movement of the bike gear is triggered by the presence of the public via a piezo sensor. Ironically, this work, which uses plastic waste as the main ingredient, was mistaken for rubbish during an event and thrown away.
