AliPaloma (Alexandra Paloma Angerer), born in 1992 in Brixen, lives and works as a multimedia artist and art educator in Bolzano. After earning her bachelor’s degree in architecture at the University of Innsbruck, she began her artistic practice at the intersection of art, architecture, and design. Her work is characterized by a critical engagement with social norms and in-depth research on gender equality. She is best known as the creator of the jewelry project thevulvaproject, initiated in 2016 as a response to the taboo surrounding the vulva. She is also a co-founder of SUSI – Südtirols Sisters, a protected online space for women. In 2024, she received the Audience Award as part of the Renaissance exhibition at Museion, and her work was acquired for the collection. As a founding and board member of the cultural association AMA (Art, Music, Architecture), she plays an active role in shaping Bolzano’s cultural program, both by day and night.
